Park City Build

Habitat’s next planned project is the construction of two detached single-family homes on land to be donated to Habitat by Park City Municipal Corporation. The land, located on the southeast corner of Marsac and Ontario Avenues near Old Town and known locally as the “Pechnik Parcel”, affords easy access to Main Street, downtown Park City and many local area offices and schools.  The homes, which will be approximately 1,200 square feet each, must meet Historic District requirements, which include criteria governing the exterior appearance of the homes.  Site development and construction are slated to begin in the spring of 2010.  The homeowners for these homes have already been selected, and will be announced publicly as Habitat gets closer to starting construction.
